Feasibility studies

Investment House has developed a set of accurate assessment tools to provide a basis for selecting only the best investment stock.

We use these tools to help investors / developers assess the viability and profitability of a potential project. This additional information provides you with the hard data you need to make a well-informed decision.

How it works

The figures and assumptions that we use to appraise a development site in the initial stages are what we call "best guesstimates". These can give you a rough idea of project viability, but we also recommend that you go into extra detail before making your final decision.

This "extra detail" is what we provide in the form of a professional feasibility study.

We engage on your behalf external town-planning, surveying, drafting and engineering consultants to review your project and confirm its viability. This process helps you to answer important questions such as:

  • Will I be able to obtain required development approvals?
  • What can I expect to pay for…
    • town-planning assessment and approval?
    • required operational works?
    • demolition, renovation and construction?
    • marketing and selling the finished project?

Both time and cost assumptions in your initial feasibility study are reviewed and a report provided to you.

In short, this process upgrades your "best guesstimates" to "professional estimates" - giving you a rational, not emotional, basis to make a good investment decision.

Our fee for this professional feasibility study depends upon the size of the project. Typically a small lot development is $1,200, which is a relatively small sum to pay considering that this study can potentially save you from investing in the wrong place or confirm your decision to invest in a profitable project.
